My dear friend, Mary Moore, served this to our ladies at Antique Study Club one day. It was SOOOOO good that I refused to leave until she gave me the recipe!

Ingredients

1 lb
italian sausage, casings removed, cooked and crumbled
8 oz
ricotta cheese
8 oz
mexican velveeta shredded cheese
10 oz
package frozen spinach, thawed and drained
8 oz
package herb and garlic cream cheese, softened
4 oz
shredded mozzarella cheese
2
eggs, beaten
1/2 tsp
hot sauce
2 pkg
refrigerated pie crusts

How to Make Spinach Pie

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • 2Mix first six ingredients with the two eggs and hot sauce until well blended.
  • 3On lightly floured surface roll out pie crust to 12-inch circle and put in pie plate.
  • 4Fill with sausage mixture.
  • 5Roll remaining crust and put on top of pie.
  • 6Brush with egg and bake 35 to 40 minutes.
  • 7Serve warm or at room temperature.
