My dear friend, Mary Moore, served this to our ladies at Antique Study Club one day. It was SOOOOO good that I refused to leave until she gave me the recipe!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb
    italian sausage, casings removed, cooked and crumbled
  • 8 oz
    ricotta cheese
  • 8 oz
    mexican velveeta shredded cheese
  • 10 oz
    package frozen spinach, thawed and drained
  • 8 oz
    package herb and garlic cream cheese, softened
  • 4 oz
    shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2
    eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 tsp
    hot sauce
  • 2 pkg
    refrigerated pie crusts

How to Make Spinach Pie

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Mix first six ingredients with the two eggs and hot sauce until well blended.
  3. On lightly floured surface roll out pie crust to 12-inch circle and put in pie plate.
  4. Fill with sausage mixture.
  5. Roll remaining crust and put on top of pie.
  6. Brush with egg and bake 35 to 40 minutes.
  7. Serve warm or at room temperature.
