There are endless ways to grill ribs, chicken, pork etc. This one has a citrus twist to it and it is just finger-lickin' good!!!

Ingredients

  • 3 to 4 lb
    country-style ribs
  • 1 large
    lemon, thinly sliced
  • 1 large
    orange, sliced
  • 1 large
    onion, thinly sliced
  • 4 c
    water
  • 2 c
    ketchup
  • 1/4 c
    brown sugar, packed
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 2 tsp
    chili powder
  • 2 tsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 3 to 4 dash(es)
    tabasco sauce

How to Make SPICY CITRUS RIBS

Step-by-Step

  1. Place ribs in a shallow roasting pan, meaty side up.
  2. Place a slice of lemon, orange and onion on each rib.
  3. Roast at 450 degrees for 20 minutes.
  4. Combine remaining ingredients in a medium sauce pan and bring to a boil.
  5. Pour the sauce mixture over the ribs and reduce the oven temperature to 350 degrees.
  6. Continue roasting for an hour longer, basting several times. Cook till fork tender.
