This is one of my husbands favorite dishes.

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon cumin, powdered
  • 1 tablespoon turkish oregano
  • 1 tablespoon paprika, sweet mild
  • 1 tablespoon cilantro, dried
  • 1 1/2-2 pounds pork tenderloin
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

How To Make spice rubbed pork tenderloin

  • Step 1
    Rinse and pat dry tenderloin with paper towels and place in a 8 x 11 baking dish.
  • Step 2
    In separate bowl mix dry ingredients with a fork until well combined.
  • Step 3
    Sprinkle dry rub over the tenderloin making sure to cover all sides. Proceed to rub spices thoroughly into the tenderloin.
  • Step 4
    Cover with plastic wrap and marinade in fridge for at least 2 hours.
  • Step 5
    Heat oil in a skillet, place tenerloin in and quickly brown on all sides.
  • Step 6
    Place back in baking dish and bake in a pre-heated 350 F oven for about 15 minutes or until internal temp. reads 145 F.
  • Step 7
    Remove from from pan, place on a cutting board and let sit for at least 10 minutes.
  • Step 8
    Slice and serve.
