When I first got married at one of my showers everyone was asked to share a recipe. I got this one from my husband's brother's wife. She is a great cook. It is simple and yummy.

Ingredients

2 lb
country pork ribs - can use more than 2 lbs.
1 lb
can of drained kraut
1 can(s)
beef consomme
3 to 4 slice
bacon

How to Make Spareribs and Kraut

Step-by-Step

  • 1Line bottom of pan with bacon (I use 9X13). Fluff kraut and place over bacon. Season pork with salt and pepper. Place on the kraut. Pour soup over ribs and cover pan.
  • 2Bake in oven 325 - for 2 1/2 hrs.
