Ingredients
- 4-6 - pork chops, center cut
- - kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- - all purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4-6 - whole cloves
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 - bay leaf
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
How To Make sour cream pork chops

Step 1Season chops with salt and pepper; dredge in flour.

Step 2Brown chops in 2 tablespoons butter.

Step 3Insert a clove in each chop and place in a a baking dish.

Step 4In the same pan that chops were browned, add sugar, water, sour cream, bay leaf and vinegar.

Step 5Bring to a boil; pour over chops. Tightly cover and bake in 350-degree oven for 1 1/2 hours.

Step 6Discard bay leaf and cloves.
