Son of (H)Eat it Up Chili

I did find out that there would have to be some changes and so I set out to Perfect something that was damn near perfect to begin with...And, so it was born, Son of (H)Eat it Up Chili!
Ingredients

1 lbground beef, 94% lean

1 lbground sausage
-
2 Tbspvegetable oil
-
1 largewhite onion, minced
-
1green bell pepper, seeded and chopped
-
3jalapeno peppers, seeded, minced
-
1habanero pepper, fresh, seeded, minced
-
6 clovegarlic, minced
-
1 bunchchives, finely minced
-
2 can(s)kidney beans, drained and rinsed (14.5oz)
-
1 can(s)diced tomatoes (14.5)
-
1 can(s)tomato sauce (8oz)
-
1 can(s)tomato paste
-
14 1/2 ozbeef broth
-
3/4 cchili powder
-
1 Tbspcumin (ground)
-
1 tspgarlic powder
-
1/2 tspcayenne pepper
-
1 Tbspsalt
-
1 Tbspwhite pepper
-
1 Tbspfresh ground cinnamon
-
1 tspanise seed
How to Make Son of (H)Eat it Up Chili
- Cook beef and pork until brown and crumbly and no longer pink. Drain and discard any grease.
- In a large pot heat olive oil over medium heat. Stir in onion, bell pepper, habanero, jalapeno, and garlic. Cook for about 5 minutes, until the onion is soft.
- Stir meat back in and add chives, beans, tomatoes, tomato paste, tomato sauce, and broth. Add additional broth until desired consistency is reached.
- Sprinkle with spices and seasonings.
- Bring to a boil over medium heat then reduce to low and simmer for 2 hours. Stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat and allow to rest for 20 minutes. - Enjoy!
