Ingredients
- 1 package four porkchops
- 1 cup italian bread crumbs
- 1 package finely chopped cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon salt and pepper
- 4 tablespoons coconut oil
- 1 large red onion, chopped
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 2 1/3 tablespoons flour for gravy
How To Make smothered pork chops

Step 1Bread your pork chops with bread crumbs and cheese, then pan fry them just to golden brown. Take them out of the pan and strain the oil, keep a little in the pan to saute the onions.

Step 2Saute the onions until translucent, place the pork chops back into the pan on top of the onions. Add a little flour to thicken the gravy. Cover with 2 cups of chicken broth. Place cover on pan and cook for 1 hour until gravy is thick and chops are tender. Then serve and enjoy over rice or just like that with a vegetable.
