I don't buy canned soup for my recipes. I make a pre-mixed dry mix and add water to it as needed. You'll find the recipe in my recipe collection.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound smoked sausage
  • 2 medium celery ribs, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon margarine
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 can milk
  • 3 medium potatoes, sliced
  • 1 can cream of potato soup, condensed

How To Make smoky potato skillet

  • Step 1
    In a large skillet, saute the sausage, celery and onion in margarine until the vegetables are tender. Stir in the water, milk and soup. Bring to a boil.
  • Step 2
    Add the potatoes. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20-25 minutes or until potatoes are tender, stirring once.
