One of my family's favorite meals. FYI: White sauce is a type of vinegar and mayonaise based sauce we serve with grilled or bbq style meats here in Alabama.

Ingredients

  • 10-12 pounds boneless pork roast
  • 2 tablespoons cumin
  • 2 tablespoons garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons paprika

How To Make slow cooker pulled pork

  • Step 1
Lightly oil crock pot with olive or canola oil. Trim the fat from the pork roast. You may increase or decrease the amounts of each spice according to your tastes. Mix all dry ingredients well and rub them on the roast, coating it on all sides. You may wrap the roast in foil if you choose, but it is not necessary. Place roast in crock pot. Cook on Low 8-10 hours or on High 4-6 hours.
  • Step 2
Pull pork or shred with two forks. Use for sandwhiches, salads or soups. My family likes to mix the shredded meat with my homemade bbq sauce or with their favorite bottled bbq sauce. This is also excellent with white sauce.
