Slow Cooker Crock Pot

Ingredients
- 1 - pork shoulder roast (bone-in)
- 1 cup bbq sauce
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon prepared yellow mustard
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 2 to 3 dashes crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 1/2 teaspoons dried thyme
- 4 to 6 dashes liquid smoke flavoring
- 1 large chopped yellow onion
- 2 cloves crushed garlic
How To Make slow cooker pulled bbq

Step 1Salt and pepper both sides of pork roast and place in crock pot with fat side up.

Step 2Pour in BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar and chicken broth.

Step 3Stir in brown sugar, yellow mustard, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, cinnamon, thyme, onion, garlic, crushed red pepper and liquid smoke.

Step 4Cover and cook on low for 10 to 12 hours overnight.

Step 5Remove roast from cooker and take out bone and fat. Shred pork using a fork.

Step 6Strain liquid and return to cooker, stirring in pulled pork. Add additional salt, BBQ sauce and liquid smoke to desired taste.

Step 7Cook on low for another 2 to 3 hours, allowing meat to soak up flavor.
