Ingredients

  • 5 pounds boneless pork butt
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon each mexican oregano and cumin
  • 1 large onion diced
  • 10 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 - limes juiced and zest
  • 2 large oranges juiced
  • 1 dash coka a cola
  • 2 - bay leaves

How To Make slow cooker pork carnitas

  • Step 1
    Place all ingredients in slow cooker.Cook on low for 10 to 12 hours. Remove the bay leaves and discard. Remove the pork and shred with two forks.
  • Step 2
    Skim as much fat off the sauce in slow cooker. Add the meat back to sauce.
  • Step 3
    Serve the pork in taco's, burritos, or enchiladas.
