Ingredients
- 3 pounds pork roast trimmed and sliced into 4 pieces
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
- 3/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons Crystal hot sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups fresh pineapple chunks
- cilantro, for garnish
How To Make slow cooker pineapple pork roast

Step 1Place the pork in the bottom of a slow cooker. Top with the sliced onions. Mix the brown sugar, honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, hot sauce, and garlic. Pour over the meat and onions.

Step 2Place the pineapple on top and cook on low 6 to 8 hours. Remove the pork to a plate and strain out the pineapple and onions. Place the sauce in a grease separate and separate the sauce into a saucepan. Place on the stove and bring to a boil. Reduce for about 10 minutes and thicken with corn starch slurry if desired.

Step 3Serve the pork with the pineapple and onions on top and ladle over the sauce. Garnish with cilantro.
