This is one of my families favorite recipes for beans. I got the recipe from a flyer a few years ago.

Ingredients
- 1 pound dry pinto beans
- 3 pounds pork roast
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon cumin
- 1 tablespoon oregano, dried
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- - salt or to taste
- 4 ounces canned green chilies, chopped
- - water
How To Make slow cooker chalupa

Step 1Cover bean with water and soak overnight.

Step 2Place roast in slow cooker. Add rest of the ingredients--including the beans and their soaking water, add more water to cover ingredients.

Step 3Cook on high 1 hour, then 6 hours on low.

Step 4Remove meat and shred--return to cooker and cook 1 more hour.
