Ingredients

  • 1 - rack of pork ribs
  • 1 can tomato sauce (small)
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup apple cider or balsalmic vinegar
  • 3/4 cup dry mustard
  • 3/4 cup minced garlic
  • 2 bottles barbecue sauce
  • 1 tablespoon basil vinegarette
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar

How To Make slow cooked pork ribs

  • Step 1
    Marinate the ribs in apple cider vinegar, soy sauce, vinegarette, garlic and barbeque sauce overnight.
  • Step 2
    Add remaining ingredients, more barbeque sauce, and 1/2 of the marinade to the crockpot. NOTE: Must be at least 6 qt. to fit full rack.
  • Step 3
    Cook for 5 hours on low.
  • Step 4
    Carefully remove from crockpot and lay onto a cookie sheet or pan covered in non-stick foil.
  • Step 5
    Pour some barbeque on top of ribs and brush to fully cover them.
  • Step 6
    Put the ribs in the oven and broil on high until sauce starts to caramelize (about 7 mins on each side)
