This a recipe my dad would make for a Sunday dinner. He always made something big and special for Sundays, mainly because we were poor and couldn't afford to eat like that everday, lol.

Ingredients
- 6 - bone-in pork chops
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- - salt and pepper to taste
- - flour for dredging
- 4 - medium red potatoes, sliced w/ skins on
- 1 large onion, thinly sliced
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 1 - 10.75 oz can fat-free, condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 2 teaspoons dried parsley for garnish
- 1 package dried onion gravy mix pouch
How To Make slow-cooked pork chops w/ gravy and potatoes

Step 1Heat butter and oil in lg skillet over medium heat. Season chops w/ salt and pepper. Dredge chops in flour. Brown chops on both sides in skillet.

Step 2Add potatoes and onions to slow-cooker. Place chops on top of poataoes and onions.

Step 3Top chops w/ remaining ingredients except for parsley. Cover, cook on low for about 4 hrs, or until pork is tender. Garnish w/ parsley. Ladle chops w/ gravy.
