This is a recipe that my Grandmother always referred to simply as slop, but don't let the name fool you. It is a simple and delicious comfort food!!

pork chops (with or without the bone you pick)
1 can(s)
cut green beans
1 can(s)
yellow wax beans
1 12oz pkg
frozen sliced carrots
1 can(s)
cream of mushroom soup
1/2 can(s)
milk (using the soup can for measurement)

How to Make "Slop" (a yummy pork chop recipe)


  • 1Preheat oven for 350 degrees
    Season your pork chops with a bit of salt and pepper then pan sear them in a bit of butter in a frying pan for 3-4 minutes per side.
  • 2Place pork chops in a baking dish, then add the two types of beans and carrots on top of that.
  • 3Mix your soup with the milk and pour this on top of everything in your baking dish.
  • 4Cover the pan and bake for 30 minutes. This is good served with your favorite mashed potatoes or with noodles or rice if you can't do potatoes.
