Ingredients For simple sweet & sour pineapple pork with noodles

  • PLAN/PURCHASE
  • 8 oz
    pork tenderloin, cut into chunks
  • THE MARINADE
  • 2 Tbsp
    tamari sauce
  • 1 tsp
    sesame oil
  • 1 Tbsp
    fresh clover honey
  • 1 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp
    crushed red pepper flakes, or to taste
  • 2 Tbsp
    coconut sugar
  • 2 Tbsp
    cider vinegar
  • 1/4 c
    pineapple juice
  • THE COOKING
  • 2 Tbsp
    grapeseed oil
  • 1 tsp
    sesame oil
  • 1 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 6 oz
    pineapple chunks
  • salt, kosher variety, to taste
  • black pepper, freshly ground, to taste
  • 8 oz
    noodles, or rice

How To Make simple sweet & sour pineapple pork with noodles

    THE MARINADE

    Gather your ingredients.

    Whisk all the marinade ingredients together in a small bowl.

    Add the pork to the marinade.
  • 6
    Cover and refrigerate for a minimum of 1 hour, or overnight.

    Gather your ingredients.

    Remove the pork from the marinade, shake off the excess, and reserve the marinade.

    Add the two oils to a pan over medium heat.

    Add the garlic, and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.

    Add the pork and stir until cooked through, about 6 to 8 minutes.

    Add the reserved marinade, and lower the heat to produce a light simmer.

    Allow the mixture to simmer, covered, for 10 minutes.

    Add the pineapple chunks, and simmer uncovered for an additional 10 minutes.
