  • 8 oz
    pork tenderloin, cut into chunks

  • 2 Tbsp
    tamari sauce
  • 1 tsp
    sesame oil
  • 1 Tbsp
    fresh clover honey
  • 1 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp
    crushed red pepper flakes, or to taste
  • 2 Tbsp
    coconut sugar
  • 2 Tbsp
    cider vinegar
  • 1/4 c
    pineapple juice

  • 2 Tbsp
    grapeseed oil
  • 1 tsp
    sesame oil
  • 1 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 6 oz
    pineapple chunks
  • ·
    salt, kosher variety, to taste
  • ·
    black pepper, freshly ground, to taste
  • 8 oz
    noodles, or rice

How to Make Simple Sweet & Sour Pineapple Pork with Noodles


  3. Gather your ingredients.
  4. Whisk all the marinade ingredients together in a small bowl.
  5. Add the pork to the marinade.
  6. Cover and refrigerate for a minimum of 1 hour, or overnight.
  8. Gather your ingredients.
  9. Remove the pork from the marinade, shake off the excess, and reserve the marinade.
  10. Add the two oils to a pan over medium heat.
  11. Add the garlic, and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  12. Add the pork and stir until cooked through, about 6 to 8 minutes.
  13. Add the reserved marinade, and lower the heat to produce a light simmer.
  14. Allow the mixture to simmer, covered, for 10 minutes.
  15. Add the pineapple chunks, and simmer uncovered for an additional 10 minutes.
  16. Chef’s Note: Allow the mixture to slightly thicken.
  18. Serve over noodles, or a nice bed of white or brown rice. Enjoy.
  19. Keep the faith, and keep cooking.
