Ingredients
- 3 1/2 pounds pork butt
- 3 cups chicken broth (warmed up)
- 2 tablespoons garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons onion powder
- 2 tablespoons ground cumin
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 2 teaspoons coriander
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 1 medium fresh lime (sliced)
- 1 small can of chopped green chili
How To Make "shredded pork carnitas"

Step 1Add 3 cups warmed chicken broth to your crockpot. Add all spices into the broth and mix well, add your Pork

Step 2Add lime juice 2 tbs over top of the pork, replace lid and cook on high for 4-6 hrs.

Step 3At the 6 hour mark remove the Pork from the cooker and let rest in a large dish, after 15 minutes take two forks and shred the meat it will be TENDER.

Step 4Transfer the broth from the slow cooker into a large covered pan heat over med heat until simmering, add your shredded pork and can of chopped chili's cover and simmer 45 minutes.

Step 5Remove from heat and serve in warm tortillas or stuffed in taco shells with fresh squeezed lime over the top, either way it will be a big hit!!!
