Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds pork loin
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 1/2 tablespoons bacon drippings
- 4 tablespoons boiling water
- 6 ounces pitted prunes
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
How To Make schab z suszonymi sliwkami (mark's) pork & prunes

Step 1Sprinke the loin with salt and flour. Brown in hot drippings. Place in a roasting pan, pour drippings mixed with four tablespoons boiling water over the meat. Bak in a moderate (350F) oven for 1 hour. Add the prunes. Bake another hour basting often. Slice the loin and place on a warmed platter. Garnish with prunes, pour the gravy over. Serve with potatores and red cabbage. Variation: Grind the prunes using a blender or food processor first and use more as a basting sauce while cooking.
