Ingredients
- 1 can 4-oz can mushroom stems and pieces, drained and chopped fine
- 1/2 cup onion, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 1 cup fresh bread crumbs (approx. 2 slices)
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice or nutmeg
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 pound lean ground pork
- 1 package 12-oz pkg. egg noodles, uncooked
- 1 jar 12-oz. jar mushroom or beef gravy
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1/4 cup sour cream

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Finely chop mushrooms, onion - add parsley bread crumbs, milk, egg and seasonings in a large bowl. Mix well.

Step 2Add meats to mixture and mix gently - do not over mix. Shape meat mixture into a loaf pan and bake for 1 hour and 20 minutes of until meat is cooked through (160 degrees). Remove and let stand 10 minutes.

Step 3While cooking the meatloaf, cook noodles and drain. Heat gravy with milk in a saucepan over medium heat until hot. Remove from heat and in sour cream - mix thoroughly.

Step 4Slice meatloaf into 8 slices and serve with noodles and gravy.
