The original recipe was from an Avon Cookbook I bought years ago. I've added my twist to it & everyone enjoys them whe I make them.

    pork chops, boneless
  • 2-3
    potatoes, medium
  • 1
    onions, yellow, medium
  • 2 can(s)
    cream of mushroom soup
  • 3 Tbsp
    yellow mustard
  • 1 tsp
    marjoram, dried
  • 1 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 1/2 tsp

How to Make Scalloped Pork Chops


  1. Brown both sides of the pork chops in a skillet with a small amount of Olive Oil. Put the pork chops on a platter lined with paper towels.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the soup, mustard, majoram, salt, pepper, garlic powder, 1 soup can of water.
  3. Peel potatoes & cut in circles.
  4. Peel onion & cut in circles.
  5. Put pork chops back in skillet; layer the onions over the pork chops; then layer the potatoes over the onions. Pour the soup mixture over the chops, onions, & potatoes.
  6. Cook on med/low until potatoes are done.
  7. Serve with a green salad or another side. Enjoy!
