The original recipe was from an Avon Cookbook I bought years ago. I've added my twist to it & everyone enjoys them whe I make them.

Ingredients

  • 6-8 - pork chops, boneless
  • 2-3 - potatoes, medium
  • 1 - onions, yellow, medium
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 3 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon marjoram, dried
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

How To Make scalloped pork chops

  • Step 1
    Brown both sides of the pork chops in a skillet with a small amount of Olive Oil. Put the pork chops on a platter lined with paper towels.
  • Step 2
    In a large mixing bowl, combine the soup, mustard, majoram, salt, pepper, garlic powder, 1 soup can of water.
  • Step 3
    Peel potatoes & cut in circles.
  • Step 4
    Peel onion & cut in circles.
  • Step 5
    Put pork chops back in skillet; layer the onions over the pork chops; then layer the potatoes over the onions. Pour the soup mixture over the chops, onions, & potatoes.
  • Step 6
    Cook on med/low until potatoes are done.
  • Step 7
    Serve with a green salad or another side. Enjoy!
