The original recipe was from an Avon Cookbook I bought years ago. I've added my twist to it & everyone enjoys them whe I make them.

Ingredients

pork chops, boneless
2-3
potatoes, medium
1
onions, yellow, medium
2 can(s)
cream of mushroom soup
3 Tbsp
yellow mustard
1 tsp
marjoram, dried
1 tsp
garlic powder
1/2 tsp
salt
1/2 tsp
pepper

How to Make Scalloped Pork Chops

Step-by-Step

  • 1Brown both sides of the pork chops in a skillet with a small amount of Olive Oil. Put the pork chops on a platter lined with paper towels.
  • 2In a large mixing bowl, combine the soup, mustard, majoram, salt, pepper, garlic powder, 1 soup can of water.
  • 3Peel potatoes & cut in circles.
  • 4Peel onion & cut in circles.
  • 5Put pork chops back in skillet; layer the onions over the pork chops; then layer the potatoes over the onions. Pour the soup mixture over the chops, onions, & potatoes.
  • 6Cook on med/low until potatoes are done.
  • 7Serve with a green salad or another side. Enjoy!
