This is a family and friend favorite. The meat falls right off the bone. It is finger licken good. Enjoy!

  • 1 1/2 c
  • 3-5 lb
    pork ribs - any type (i use baby back)
  • 4 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 4 Tbsp
    soy sauce
  • 4 Tbsp
    red wine vinegar
  • 1 1/2 c
    brown sugar
  • 1/3 c
  • ·
    flour to coat ribs
  • 1
    green pepper (diced)
  • 1 can(s)
    pineapple tidbits or 1/2 20 oz. can chopped pineapple

How to Make Savory Oven Barbequed Spare Ribs


  1. Place all ingredients (except ribs) into a large heavy sauce pan and bring to a boil - stirring occassionally. (Cook until all ingredients are well blended.)
  2. Sprinkle the ribs with the flour.
  3. Place ribs in a large baking pan.
  4. Pour sauce over ribs and cover pan with aluminum foil.
  5. Bake ribs at 300 degrees for 3 - 3 1/2 hours.
  6. Skim fat off of sauce before serving. (I cut the ribs into 4-rib pieces.)
