    sweet italian sausage casing removed
  • ·
    olive oil
  • 1 medium
    onion diced
  • 6 clove
    garlic minced
  • ·
  • 1/4 c
    dry white wine
  • 1 can(s)
    15 1/2 oz petite diced tomatoes
  • 4 oz
    goat cheese
  • 3 Tbsp
    fresh basil chopped
  • 1/2 c
    cherry tomatoes sliced
  • ·
    cooked pasta of your choice

How to Make Sausage Tomato & Goat Cheese Sauce over Pasta


  1. Place oil in large skillet. Brown the onions over med low heat for 7 minutes. Add the garlic and saute one minute.
    add the wine and let most evaporate. Season with salt
  2. Place the onion mixture can tomatoes and goat cheese in a food processor and process until smooth. Set aside. Wipe out the pan and place the sausage in the pan and cook until no longer pink.
  3. Add the tomato mixture and cook about 5 or 6 minutes.
    Throw in the sliced fresh cherry tomatoes and cook 2 minutes.
  4. Serve over your favorite pasta garnished with fresh basil.
