A dear friend served this yummy quiche for our Christmas Brunch many years ago. It has become one of my favorites to serve for my guests, or for a family brunch.

Ingredients

  • 1 - 9 inch deep dish pie crust
  • 1 - 1 lb. sage sausage
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons all purpose flour
  • 2/3 cup evaporated milk
  • 3 - eggs
  • 2 teaspoons parsley flakes

How To Make sausage quiche

  • Step 1
    Cook sausage and onion in frying pan until done. Drain. Do not overcook sausage or it will not be as good.
  • Step 2
    In a separate bowl, combine cheese and flour. Then combine with sausage/onion mixture. Spread in pie shell.
  • Step 3
    Beat eggs, milk and parsley flakes together and pour over pie.
  • Step 4
    Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes or until set and golden brown.
