A dear friend served this yummy quiche for our Christmas Brunch many years ago. It has become one of my favorites to serve for my guests, or for a family brunch.

9 inch deep dish pie crust
1 lb. sage sausage
1/2 c
onion, chopped
1 1/2 c
shredded sharp cheddar cheese
2 1/2 Tbsp
all purpose flour
2/3 c
evaporated milk
2 tsp
parsley flakes

How to Make Sausage Quiche


  • 1Cook sausage and onion in frying pan until done. Drain. Do not overcook sausage or it will not be as good.
  • 2In a separate bowl, combine cheese and flour. Then combine with sausage/onion mixture. Spread in pie shell.
  • 3Beat eggs, milk and parsley flakes together and pour over pie.
  • 4Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes or until set and golden brown.
