Ingredients

  • 1 lb
    pork sausage
  • 1/2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 4 c
    milk
  • ·
    salt and pepper to taste
  • ·
    can of prepared biscuits (if you want)

How to Make Sausage Gravy and Biscuits

Step-by-Step

  1. Crumble and brown the sausage in a deep skillet.
  2. Stir in the flour until it is dissolved
  3. Gradually add the milk. Cook until thick and bubbly. (I like to add my milk about 1 cup - 2 cups at a time.
  4. salt and pepper to taste!
  5. SIDE NOTE: you can use 1/2 lb sausage 1/4 c flour and 2 cups milk if you need a smaller portion
