Ingredients

  • 1 lb
    bulk pork sausage
  • 1/2 c
    chopped onion
  • 1/2 c
    chopped green pepper
  • 1 can(s)
    stewed tomatoes
  • 1/2 tsp
    chili powder
  • 1 c
    uncooked elbow macaroni
  • 1/2 c
    water
  • 1 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 c
    sour cream (optional)

How to Make Sausage Goulash

Step-by-Step

  1. Cook sausage, onions, green pepper until meat browns.
    Break up meat while cooking. Drain off grease.
  2. Add remaining ingredients, except sour cream.
    Simmer 20 to 25 minutes, stir often. Add sour cream.
    Heat, do not boil.
