- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 pound bulk pork sausage
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 cup chopped green pepper
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 2 cans 15 1/2 oz ea, red kidney beans
- 1 can ( 1lb / 12oz ) tomatoes, cut up
- 1 can ( 6oz ), tomato paste
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 2 teaspoons salt

Step 1In a skillet, cook ground beef and bulk pork sausage until browned; drain off excess fat.

Step 2Transfer meat mixture to a crock pot cooker. Add onion, green pepper, and celery. Stir in undrained kidney beans, undrained tomatoes, tomato paste, garlic, chili powder, and salt.

Step 3Cover and cook on low heat setting for 8 to 10 hours.
