Everyone who has tried this really liked it. It can be served as a main dish with vegetables or it is really good as a meal by itself with bread and butter.

Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh ground sausage
- 1 cup uncooked rice
- 1 can beef consomme
- 1 can french onion soup
- 2 tablespoons butter, cold
How To Make sausage and rice casserole

Step 1Preheat oven to 375 Put butter in casserole dish in preheating oven to be melting.

Step 2Brown & drain sausage

Step 3Once the sausage is browned, carefully get the casserole dish with the melted butter out of the oven.

Step 4Put sausage, uncooked rice, consomme and french onion in the casserole dish. Place in the oven and cook 45 mins or so until the rice is cooked. Serve and enjoy!
