onion, medium, thinly sliced
1 Tbsp
minced garlic

red bell peppers, sliced

green bell pepper, diced
3 Tbsp
tomato paste
3/4 c
dry white wine
1 tsp
fennel seeds
salt
white pepper

How to Make Sausage and Peppers

Step-by-Step

  • 1Heat the oil in a casserole or large skillet and cook the sausage for 2 minutes on each side.
  • 2Pour off most of the fat, add the onions, garlic, peppers, tomato paste, wine, fennel seeds, salt and pepper.
  • 3Cover and cook over low heat for 25 minutes.
