Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 12 - italian sausages, hot
  • 1 - onion, medium, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 2 - red bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 - green bell pepper, diced
  • 3 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 3/4 cup dry white wine
  • 1 teaspoon fennel seeds
  • - salt
  • - white pepper

How To Make sausage and peppers

  • Step 1
    Heat the oil in a casserole or large skillet and cook the sausage for 2 minutes on each side.
  • Step 2
    Pour off most of the fat, add the onions, garlic, peppers, tomato paste, wine, fennel seeds, salt and pepper.
  • Step 3
    Cover and cook over low heat for 25 minutes.
