Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound ham, in 1/8" slices
  • 2 - apples
  • 2 - potatoes
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 tablespoon flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 tablespoon sausage drippings

How To Make sausage and apple casserole

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 375.
  • Step 2
    Pare and slice apples and potatoes.
  • Step 3
    Slice sausage; fry sausage, save drippings.
  • Step 4
    Combine salt, flour and sugar.
  • Step 5
    Arrange sausage, apples, and potatoes in layers in casserole; sprinkle some flour mixture over each layer.
  • Step 6
    Top with layer of sausage.
  • Step 7
    Sprinkle casserole with sausage drippings; cover tightly and bake for 1 hour.
