Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
- pinch pepper
- 1 1/2 cups kahlua
- 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/2 pound ham, in 1/8
- 6 cups potatoes, sliced, cooked
How To Make saucy ham and potato bake

Step 1Place Kahlua and ham in a shallow dish to marinate for about 10-15 minutes.

Step 2Saute onion in margarine; blend in flour and seasonings.

Step 3Gradually add milk; cool, stirring constantly until thickened.

Step 4Add 1-1/2 cups cheese; stir until melted.

Step 5Toss potatoes in cheese sauce, then pour into 2-quart casserole, reserving 1 cup potato slices.

Step 6Arrange ham and remaining potato slices on top of casserole. Pour the Kahlua over the top carefully as not to splatter.

Step 7Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes; top with remaining cheese.
