This is a super-easy, delicious slow cooker recipe that's great for any night of the week. The fall-off-the-bone tender pork chops are cooked in a garlic, mushroom and white wine sauce that you may just want to eat with a spoon.

Ingredients

  • 1 large
    sweet onion, chopped
  • 1 small
    can (4 oz.) mushroom stems and pieces, drained
  • 1 1/2 to 2 lb
    pork chops (see **note)
  • 1 can(s)
    cream of mushroom with roasted garlic soup
  • 1 can(s)
    beefy mushroom soup
  • 1/3 c
    dry white wine
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 lg or 4 small
    bay leaves
  • 1
    chicken bouillon cube, unwrapped
  • 1
    beef bouillon cube, unwrapped

How to Make SAUCY GARLIC MUSHROOM PORK CHOPS (crock pot)

Step-by-Step

  1. Gather all ingredients; chop onion, drain mushrooms and grind black pepper.
  2. Place plastic liner in crock pot, if using. Add onions and mushrooms to crock pot.
  3. Place pork chops on top of onions and mushrooms.
  4. In a medium size mixing bowl, combine both soups, wine, salt, pepper and bouillon cubes.
  5. Pour mixture over pork chops. Place lid on crock pot; cook on low setting for 6 hours, or high setting for 4 hours.
  6. Remove and discard bay leaves. Serve hot, covered with the sauce, with mashed potatoes, rice or noodles. Cover and refrigerate leftovers.
  7. **NOTE: You may use bone-in chops (more flavor,) or boneless (recommended if serving to children.) Pork will be fall-off-the-bone tender, so remove from pot with a large spatula.
