Ingredients
- 4 - pork chops
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 clove minced garlic
- SAUCE
- 2 teaspoons oil
- 4 tablespoons dry sherry
- 4 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
How To Make san francisco pork chops

Step 1Heat oil in skillet, brown chops on both sides.

Step 2Remove chops from pan and add a little more oil if needed. Saute garlic for a minute until brown.

Step 3Combine oil, sherry, soy sauce, brown sugar and red pepper. Place pork chops into pan and pour sauce over them. Cover tightly.

Step 4Simmer over low heat until chops are tender and cooked through. 30-35 minutes. Add a little water, if needed.

Step 5Remove chops to platter. Stir in cornstarch dissolved in water. Cook until thickened. Pour over chops

Step 6Serve with buttered noodles
