  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • - salt and pepper
  • 1 pound mozzarella, shredded
  • 1 pound extra sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

How To Make roger's lasagna

  • Step 1
Preheat oven to 350*. Grease lasagna pan or 9x13 pan.
  • Step 2
Brown sausage in a skillet. drain. set aside.
  • Step 3
In a bowl mix together the ricotta cheese, egg, parmesan cheese, and the 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese.
  • Step 4
Start layering, starting with noodles, ricotta mixture, sausage, onion, olives, tomatoes, sauce, then a combination of the sharp cheddar and the mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers until ingredients are all used (usually 3 good layers). You want to save some cheese to put on top.

NOTE: I always grate my own cheese, it melts better and there is a taste difference.
