This is a step up from your traditional meatloaf. Ground turkey can be substituted for the beef and pork.

ground beef
1/2 lb
ground pork
4 oz
yellow onions chopped small diced
2 oz
green bell peppers small diced
2 oz
red bell peppers small diced
2 oz
yellow bell peppers small diced
2 oz
celery stalk chopped small diced
small can evaporated milk
1 large
salt, pepper, garlic and thyme to taste
1 can(s)
tomato paste
2 Tbsp
Heinz 57 steak sauce
1 Tbsp
Worcestershire sauce
2 Tbsp
1 oz

How to Make Robin's Meatloaf


  • 1Add all of the chopped vegetables to a saute pan with oil to caramelize until almost black but not burned and set aside to cool.
  • 2Combine the caramelized vegetable mixture, evaporated milk, seasonings and egg to meat gently. Do not over mix.
  • 3Place meatloaf into a baking dish and cook for 45 minutes until brown.
  • 4In a bowl combine tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, Heinz 57 sauce and honey for topping.
  • 5Top the meatloaf with the sauce mixture during the last 10-15 minutes of cooking. Do not over bake.
