·2 tbsp. flour

·1 3/4 tsp. salt

·1 pork loin roast, 4 lbs.

·nonstick cooking spray

·1 1/2 cups applesauce

·1/2 cup packed dark brown sugar

·1/4 tsp. allspice
How to Make Roast Pork with Apple Topping
- Mix flour, 1 1/2 tsp. of the salt, mustard, caraway, sugar, pepper and sage in small bowl. Rub over the pork. Cover and let stand for 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350. Arrange the roast, fat side up on baking rack coated with cooking spray in roasting pan. Roast, uncovered, for 1 hour.
- Mix the applesauce, brown sugar, allspice and the remaining 1/4 tsp. salt in small bowl. Spread over the pork. Roast for 1 hour or til meat thermometer registers 160 to 170. Let stand for 15 minutes before slicing. Serves 8
