this is one of my favorite recipes for pork ummmmm

Ingredients

  • 1 - 9 pound crown roast of pork
  • 2 teaspoons koshar salt
  • 3 - garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 teaspoons dried sage
  • 2 teaspoons dried thyme
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 1/2 stick unsalted butter
  • 3 cups your favorite prepared sauerkraut

How To Make roast of pork

  • Step 1
    Cover the exposed rib ends with some aluminum foil to prevent burning. Rub the meat well with combined salt,garlic,sage, and thyme, fill the center of the roast with aluminum foil crumpled. Roast on a rack in a lrg roasting pan in a preheated oven thats set at 325 degrees for 3 hrs. baste it with pan juices and wine and butter frequantly. when the meat is cooked replace the aluminum foil back on the bone ends. remove the the foil from the center and fill it with your favorite prepared sauerkraut. cut it into chops. serve to 1 or 2 a person with some of the saurkraut from the center.
