This recipe was given to me by a close friend and I have in turn been asked to pass it along. To me it's the best chili I've had! Hope you enjoy it.

1 1/2 lb
ground beef
1 1/2 lb
bulk pork sausage
2 large
onions, chopped
1 large
green bell pepper
3 clove
garlic, crushed
3- 14 oz
cans whole tomatoes, undrained and chopped
2 c
1/2 c
3 Tbsp
chili seasoning packet
1 Tbsp
chili powder
2 tsp
ground cumin
1- 14 oz
can pinto beans, undrained
1- 6 oz
can tomato paste
1- 14 oz
can beef broth
1 Tbsp
1/4 tsp
red pepper

How to Make Rich and Spicy Chili


  • 1Combine beef and sausage in large dutch oven. Cook until brown, stirring to crumble; drain.
  • 2Add onion and remaining ingredients, except beans, and stir well. Cover and simmer over low heat 2 1/2 hours, stirring frequently. Stir in beans and cook for 30 more minutes. Enjoy!
