  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon mushroom ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon shaoxing wine
  • FOR THE DISH
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 red chili, seeded and sliced
  • 1 tablespoon chili bean paste
  • 1 pound rice noodles
  • GARNISHES
  • 4 scallions, chopped in 1/2-inch pieces
  • fresh cilantro, chopped

How To Make rice noodles with a spicy pork sauce

  • Step 1
    Mix the sauce ingredients together and set aside.
  • Step 2
    In a wok, add the sesame oil, pork, ginger, garlic, chili's, and chili bean paste. Add the noodles to boiling water in another pan.
  • Step 3
    Cook the meat mixture until the pork in no longer pink. Make a well in the middle, pour in the sauce mixture, and incorporate it into the meat mixture.
  • Step 4
    Once the noodles are done, drain. Serve the meat over the noodles and garnish with scallions and cilantro.
