- 1 box uncle ben's original recipe wild rice, cooked
- 1 pound sausage, cooked (i use jimmy deans)
- 16 ounces sour cream
- 1 can water chestnuts, diced
- 1 1/4 cups cheddar cheese, grated
How To Make rice and sausage casserole

Step 1Combine cooked rice and cooked sausage. Add diced chestnuts.

Step 2Add enough sour cream to make moist. Takes most and sometimes all of it. Mix in most of cheese. Leave some to place on top.

Step 3Pour into a 9x13 baking dish. Bake at 425 degrees 20 to 30 minutes until bubbly.
