My Daughter Mailea and her 3-Daughters are crazy for anything and everything that you can put Ranch in, on or over!!! Her Hubby not so much but he loved this dish I made while they were here over this week, the 4th of July (they arrived on the 1st). If I'd known I was going to post the recipe, I would have taken some pix preparing it...but I only took "2". One when it was ready for the oven and one when it came out of the oven. I had it ready to come out of the oven the night they arrived...they ate the whole thing. I hope you enjoy it as much as they did. (photo by: CinStraw)

How To Make ranch mac & cheese w/bacon for mailea...cin's

  • The Ranch Mac & Cheese w/Bacon dish I made for Mailea and her 'lil Family....ready to put into the oven. (photos by: CinStraw)
    Step 1
Preheat Oven to: 300°F. Cook pasta to desired texture and drain (saving 1/2 c of your liquid). Mix pasta in with the 2 jars of sauce; 1/2 cup of pasta water; and the envelope of the dry Ranch Dressing Mix. Place into a 9x13" baking dish (I used a corning casserole dish). Stir all together and fold in 1/2 the cheeses and almost all of the crumbled bacon (saving some for top). Sprinkle the rest of the cheese and crumbled bacon on the top and place in preheated oven for approximately 30 minutes (until bubbling hot). I serve it with a tossed salad, homemade BBQ baked beans, my Cin's Beer Bread...and homemade sweet ice tea. For dessert I made '2' homemade Cobblers (a Peach Cobbler and a Peach/Cherry Cobbler).
