ragout of pork
I just threw this together with stuff I had in the house. I do love it when that works out so well!

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds pork roast, diced into bite-size pieces
- 1/3 cup flour
- 1/4 cup canola oil
- 2-3 large carrots, scraped and sliced
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 1/2 cup english peas
- 1/2 cup frozen corn
- 3 cups chicken or pork broth
- 1/2 tablespoon kitchen bouquet browning sauce
- - salt & pepper to taste
- fresh chopped parsley (optional)
How To Make ragout of pork

Step 1Heat oil in deep skillet over medium-high heat. Dredge pork in flour. Add pork, onions and flour to skillet and brown in oil.

Step 2Pour in broth and browning sauce. Season with salt & pepper. Add carrots.

Step 3Bring to a simmer. Cover and cook over low heat for 40 minutes.

Step 4Turn off heat. Add in peas and corn. Stir until thawed.

Step 5Serve over mashed potatoes or rice.

Step 6Sprinkle right chopped fresh chopped parsley if desired.
