Ingredients
- 2 cups ham, cooked and cubed
- 8 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced
- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 2 cups milk
- 3 tablespoons bread crumbs, dry
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons parsley, fresh and chopped
How To Make potato-ham scallop

Step 1Place half the ham in a 2 quart casserole; cover with half the potatoes and half the onion.

Step 2Sift half the flour over; season with salt and pepper.

Step 3Repeat, layering ham, potatoes and onion; season with additional salt and pepper.

Step 4Sift remaining flour atop; pour milk over all.

Step 5Bake covered at 350 until potatoes are nearly tender, 1 to 1 1/4 hours; uncover.

Step 6Combine bread crumbs and melted butter; sprinkle atop casserole.

Step 7Top with parsley and bake 15 minutes longer.
