from ambest cookbook, very good recipe, calls for a little time, but well worth it. This recipe came out of Lubbock, Tx. I am leaving prep time to how long it takes a 1 1/2 lb. pork shoulder, cooked and cubed.

Ingredients
- 1 - onion, chopped
- 2 - cloves garlic, peeled and chopped
- 1 1/2 lb. - pork shoulder, cooked and cubed or shredded
- 2 - cans white or yellow hominy, rinsed and drained
- 1 - can diced tomatoes
- 1 - can diced green chililes
- 4-5 - cans chicken broth
- 1 - cup green chilies, chopped
- 1/2 tsp - cumin
- - salt & pepper to taste
How To Make posole

Step 1Mix all ingredients and cook over low to medium heat until onions are tender and flavors are blended.

Step 2NOTE: Fresh or canned chopped jalapeno may be added to taste.
