Ingredients
-
1onion, chopped
-
2cloves garlic, peeled and chopped
-
1 1/2 lb.pork shoulder, cooked and cubed or shredded
-
2cans white or yellow hominy, rinsed and drained
-
1can diced tomatoes
-
1can diced green chililes
-
4-5cans chicken broth
-
1cup green chilies, chopped
-
1/2 tspcumin
-
·salt & pepper to taste
How to Make posole
- Mix all ingredients and cook over low to medium heat until onions are tender and flavors are blended.
- NOTE: Fresh or canned chopped jalapeno may be added to taste.
