  • 3 lb
    bonless pork loin cubed
  • 3 can(s)
    pink or roman beans
  • 4 clove
    roasted garlic
  • 2
    bay leaves, dried
  • ·
    salt and pepper
  • 2 pinch
  • 1 1/4
    cup red wine
  • 1/4 c
    olive oil, extra virgin (only)

How to Make Portuguese Pork an Beans Dish


  1. cut pork loin into cubes equaling 3lbs worth
  2. sautee in olive oil
  3. add garlic,wine, cumin, on low heat (be careful not to burn garlic)...
  4. add beans, bring to a boil and simmer on low heat for 1hr...... soooo yummy! serve with homemade french fried potatoes! (only use fresh potatoes)
