Growing up cooking this dish with some amazing old world ladies, it has evolved into perfection!

bonless pork loin cubed
3 can(s)
pink or roman beans
4 clove
roasted garlic
bay leaves, dried
salt and pepper
2 pinch
1 1/4
cup red wine
1/4 c
olive oil, extra virgin (only)

How to Make Portuguese Pork an Beans Dish


  • 1cut pork loin into cubes equaling 3lbs worth
  • 2sautee in olive oil
  • 3add garlic,wine, cumin, on low heat (be careful not to burn garlic)...
  • 4add beans, bring to a boil and simmer on low heat for 1hr...... soooo yummy! serve with homemade french fried potatoes! (only use fresh potatoes)
