Yes, you can make delicious Won Tons at home! Our family has been making (and eating) these for at least 40 years, and I wouldn't change a thing about them.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound pork, ground
  • 2 medium onions, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons parsley flakes
  • 6 - water chestnuts, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon corn starch

How To Make pork won tons

  • Step 1
Cook all ingredients, in a little canola oil, until pork is well browned. Drain and let cool.
  • Step 2
Place about 1 tsp. of pork mixture in center of won ton wrapper. Moisten edges of wrapper with water and fold. (Fold closest corner to farthest corner, then fold in the last two corners in, moistening all corners as you go).
  • Step 3
Fry in deep, hot oil until golden brown.
  • Step 4
DIPPING SAUCE: Mix equal amounts of Soy Sauce with Red Wine & Garlic Vinegar. Add Chili Powder to taste. Give each person a small bowl of dipping sauce for their won tons and ENJOY!
