How To Make pork stew
-
Step 1The day before you plan to cook the stew Cut pork into 1 inch pieces. Season w/ ONION POWDER, GARLIC POWDER, CUMIN, OREGANO, CHILI POWDER, McCORMICK GARLIC & HERB(NO SALT) SEASONING, LAWRY'S SEASONED SALT. I just shake spices onto the meat. Place in a zip lock bag, & fridge overnight.
-
Step 2In a large pot, heat oil, add the measured amount of CHILI POWDER, OREGANO, & CUMIN, cook 2 minutes on low heat.
-
Step 3Add ONIONS and meat, cook 20 - 30 minutes, stir often.
-
Step 4Add CORN, BEANS, & CHICKEN BROTH. Smash & chop GARLIC, and add.
-
Step 5Start cooking RICE in another pot now. Brown rice or wild rice take a bit longer to cook than white rice! Cook stew 20 minutes. Medium heat.
-
Step 6Serve over RICE. Garnish w/ SOUR CREAM & GREEN ONIONS My family likes this with CORN BREAD
