This is my grandmothers recipe that my mom used to cook for us growing up. You can manage your salt intake if you choose.

Ingredients

Add to Grocery List

1 - 2 lb
belly pork, cubed
1 medium
tomato, cleaned & quartered
1 medium
onion, chopped
salt & pepper, to taste
1 small
japanese pumpkin, peeled & cubed
2 pkg
long beans (ootong), cut into bite size
3 clove
garlic, smashed & chopped
1 Tbsp
aloha shoyu (amino acid)

How to Make Pork, Pumpkin & Long Beans

Step-by-Step

  • 1Fry pork until crispy then add garlic & fry then add salt & pepper. Add enough water to cover pork. Add tomato, shoyu & onion then boil until tomato becomes limp then add pumpkin & cook for 3 more minutes then cover & do not remove but leave on stove for about 1 hour(pumpkin will finish cooking in pot
  • 2Served with hot rice.
