Ingredients
- 1 pound ground pork
- 1 can water chestnuts, minced
- 1/2 cup green onions, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh or preserved ginger, minced
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 - egg, slightly beaten
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- - cornstarch (enough to roll in)
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- SWEET AND SOUR SAUCE
- 1/2 cup green pepper, cubed
- 1/2 cup red pepper, cubed
- 2 - carrots, thinly sliced
- 1 can pineapple, with juice
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 2 teaspoons fresh ginger, minced
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/3 cup water
How To Make pork party balls

Step 1Combine pork, water chestnuts, onions, ginger, salt, soy sauce, egg and bread crumbs in large bowl; mix well.

Step 2Shape into 36 balls

Step 3Roll in cornstarch to coat lightly; shake off excess.

Step 4Brown in oil in large skillet; remove balls as they brown to a roasting pan; cover loosely with foil.

Step 5Bake in 350 degree oven for 20 minutes or until thoroughly cooked.

Step 6Combine with sweet and sour sauce.

Step 7SWEET AND SOUR SAUCE Sauté peppers and carrots in 1 T. of oil in large saucepan until tender-3 min. Stir in 1 can of pineapple with juice, vinegar, soy sauce, sugar, beef broth and ginger. Combine 2 T. Cornstarch in 1/3 c. water; stir into sauce. Cook stirring constantly until mixture thickens.
