Ingredients

  • 4 pounds boneless pork loin roast (up to 6 pounds)
  • 1 cup plum jam
  • 1/3 cup frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
  • 1/3 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

How To Make pork loin roast

  • Step 1
    Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Step 2
    Line a roasting pan with foil.
  • Step 3
    Cook the roast until temperature on meat thermometer reaches 170 degrees F (about 30 minutes per pound).
  • Step 4
    Combine the remaining ingredients in a small saucepan and simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Step 5
    After the roast reaches 170 degrees F, brush frequently with sauce while continuing to roast for a further 30 minutes.
  • Step 6
    Let rest for about 10 minutes to distribute juices before slicing.
  • Step 7
    Pass remaining sauce with roast.
  • Step 8
    NOTE: The time given will be about how long it takes to cook a 4 pound roast.
